Herefordshire – the county nestled in the Welsh borders and bordering the county of Gloucestershire and the stunning Forest of Dean, it is one of the Jewels in England’s crown. Cider – One of the main attractions to Hereford is its cider. Some of the UK’s favourite ciders come from Hereford. Strongbow is probably the most well known and is enjoyed all over the world, exported from the Herefordshire farm where it is created. Other favourites are Fruit bat, which is completely free of additives and chemicals. Stowford press is another firm favourite, and also offers a low alcohol alternative.

Symonds Yat – This stunning area, perfectly placed in the Wye Valley on the edge of the Forest of Dean, combines leisure activities such as canoeing, with a place for walkers, picnic enjoying families and avid birdwatchers, as the area is home to a peregrine falcon colony. Get lost in the maze, visit beautiful jubilee gardens and take in the stunning scenery.

Goodrich Castle – A stunning castle based in near the market town of Ross on Wye, overlooking the River Wye, this is a great opportunity to see one of the best-preserved medieval era castles in the country. An opportunity to learn more about the history of the local area and then enjoy a traditional cup of tea and slice of cake in the tearoom.
