A classic amongst classics, this smash hit romantic, film thriller featuring Whitney Houston and Kevin Costner has to be one of the best- and well-known films to come out of America. Released in 1992 written by Lawrence Kasdan and directed by Mick Jackson features Costner as “Frank” an Agent formerly in the Secret Service. Having proven himself as a force to be reckoned with he becomes a bodyguard for Rachel Marron (Houston) the Academy award nominated singing star. His role is to protect her from an unknown assailant and after she receives a death threat and a bomb actually explodes in her dressing room Frank (Costner) becomes part of her security detail.
Like Frank all security personnel have to be vetted and provide their proven background records. To make this process simple and efficient a Visitor Management System should be followed and can be provided by companies such as https://www.ofec.co.uk/web-and-software-development-services/digital-visitors-and-staff-signing-in-book.aspx . When the level of the threats towards Rachel takes a sinister new turn Frank takes Rachel, son Fletcher and Sister Nicki to his father’s lakefront cabin in the mountains. When Fletcher is rescued at the last moment from a boat that explodes Nicki confides in frank that in a fit of jealousy, she had hired a hitman on her famous sister! The hitman mistakes Nicki for Rachel and kills her, after going back to the City to accept her Best Actress award Frank eventually kills the shooter after being shot himself. He recovers and leaves Rachels service while she sings the iconic song “I will always Love You”.
